Donate to Sorina Grasso for Caulfield
Sorina Grasso is the 2018 Victorian state election Labor candidate for Caulfield. She is a teacher and Coordinator at Monash University English Language Centre where she has been a member of the NTEU for 18 years, has been a union delegate, and has also been the Health and Safety Representative for the last 4 years. In 2017 Sorina added to her Master of Education a Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics, Safety and Health as she is very interested in a safe working environment as a fundamental human right. She has a strong commitment to Labor values, has been in the Labor Party since 1999, been active in local branch politics, volunteered at every State and Federal election and in 2014 she was a Candidate for the Upper House seat of Eastern Victoria Region. Her parents migrated to Australia when she was 12 years old, she was educated in the State system and she and her sister and were raised with the belief that through a strong work ethic and a commitment to education, a woman can pursue any calling she chooses.
"I am running because I want to be a progressive voice for the Caulfield electorate, to fight for a fairer society by advocating for a strong state education system, better public transport and energy generation that respects the environment."
